ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the word mortal is used to denote “that which is subject to death”, a word that when followed by the suffix -ism denotes “a formalised belief surrounding such a situation”, which altogether means “one’s establishment of a healthy relationship between them and the fact of their own mortality.”
